Overview
The Polar Equine Inzone Heart Monitoring system enables you to exercise within a specific target heart rate zone. It also has a large easy-to-read display and simple button access to function, with a nightlight for early morning starts. This unit's coded transmission avoids cross-talk with other users' units or transmitters. When you're in a crowded area, such as a vet check, the training computer finds your horse’s heart rate and not someone else’s!
The electrodes are mounted on a sealed transmitter that is attached to the saddle. Polar's unique patented one-piece molded construction makes the Polar Equine transmitter the only 100% waterproof equine heart rate transmitter available. A clear advantage, particularly if you navigate deep water crossings with your horse.
To optimize the contact between the horse's skin and the electrodes, contact gel (Aloe Vera gel works wonderfully) can be used on the electrode areas.
The Polar Equine Inzone includes:
- Polar Equine FT1 training computer
- Polar Equine T52H Coded Transmitter
- Complete Instructions for Use
With Polar Equine Inzone you are able to gain knowledge of how hard your horse is working during an exercise or a ride. This knowledge is important when conditioning or when your horse is recovering from an injury or illness. You are able to control the horse's work intensity in order to prevent overstraining him. Furthermore you can detect improvements in your horse's fitness by his exercise and recovery heart rate. With an improved fitness your horse will show a lower heart rate at a given speed, while his recovery heart rate will decline more quickly.

Additional Information
Please Note:
- Because the transmitter setup is waterproof, it is fully enclosed, and the transmitter must be replaced when the battery falters. However, it has a 5,000-hour life ~ that’s a lot of riding! If the battery eventually fails, another option would be to replace the T52H transmitter system with the H2 transmitter/electrode set.
- The FT1 monitor (the watch part) holds a battery with a 1-2 year lifespan that must be replaced by Polar. At the time of this writing, turnaround time is just 1-2 days for a small fee.
2-year manufacturer's warranty (U.S. purchases only): If your unit is taken out of the country, the warranty will no longer be valid. Polar won’t warranty products shipped out of the country at this time. It is better for international customers to purchase in their own country where an alternate warranty may be offered. Polar Electro Inc. guarantees the original consumer/purchaser of this device that the product will be free from defects in material or workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase. The receipt of the original purchase is your proof of purchase. Does not cover the battery, normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, abuse, accidents or non-compliance with the precautions; improper maintenance, commercial use, cracked, broken, or scratched cases/displays, elastic strap, and Polar apparel.
Previous Feedback
Comments: 've used other heart rate monitors, but have found that I like this one the best. I hook the watch to the saddle so it's always close to the electrodes for a reading, and I glance down every time I want to know what my horse's heart rate is.

Comments: I absolutely love this heart rate monitor. I debated for a long time between the VMAX and Polar. I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and it has been very helpful in keeping my gelding in his aerobic working zone. Love that it has a high and low alert. Great product at a nice price.
