Total Saddle Fit Shoulder Relief Dressage Girth
Overview
Have you ever experienced saddle slippage or girth galling? Total Saddle Fit has re-imagined how a girth should work, and has created a piece of equipment that provides comfort for your horse and allows your saddle to stay in place!
The Shoulder Relief Dressage Girth actually changes the position and angle of the billets to create a more secure fit. This is thanks to the ergonomic shape, as the center of the girth is set forward to sit in the horse's natural girth groove while the sides of the girth are cut back two inches behind the horse's girth line. This allows the billets to angle forward and become perpendicular to the ground, which reduces the saddle's tendency to be pulled into the shoulder. An added benefit of changing the position and angle of the billets is to prevent the saddle from interfering with the shoulder. Freedom of the shoulder will allow the horse a full range of motion under saddle while the cutback will prevent galling in the elbow area.
Even riders who are not experiencing saddle slippage can benefit from this girth, as it improves saddle fit.

Comments: I have been using this dressage girth for over a year and it is the best one I have used. I got it for one mare who has a saddle fit issue - this keeps the saddle where it belongs without chafing up pretty straight steep trails! At 24, she is still working because of this! Now I need a western one for her daughter.

Comments: I bought this girth to my horse because the normal straight ones doesn't fit, it pulls the saddle forward so the saddle presses against the shoulderblades and he geets tense because of that. But with this girth it doesn't, it's totally unbelievable. I couldn't find another one wich is so good and has a good quality as this one From: Emma - Sweden
Comments: Received and used the shoulder relief girth - dressage model, and can not say enough about it!!! At 25 (yes 25) I thought cantering was out of the question for my retired GP guy. Boy was I wrong, this girth put and kept my saddle where it is supposed to be while allowing plenty of shoulder/elbow space. The stumble is gone and the rocking horse canter that this guy had is back!!! Not to mention the improved trot work!!! I thank you and my horse thanks you!!!!!

Comments: I'm a saddle fitter from New England and I wanted to tell you that I love your girths. I think they're great! I also recommend your girths for a lot of my own clients.

Comments: I think this girth is well made with nice leather. I have a couple of draft crosses and the saddle sits and stays better with an anatomic girth. I have two - one for my dressage saddle and one for my monoflap. I would recommend this girth.

Comments: I am very glad Riding Warehouse is carrying this. I own the dressage girth which I bough directly from Total Saddle Fit. It is wonderful. I have done about three 25-30 mile limited distance rides using it as well as the training that accompanies it and not a rub! Now if they would carry the western cinch from TSF, I would get that. Worth waiting for.

Comments: I was very excited to try this girth for my mare who really needed a shoulder relief girth. The price was right and it looks/sounds quite nice. Upon opening the package, the first thing I noticed was how stiff the leather was, creasing/cracking as I tried to shape it. I decided to give it a go anyways, hoping the leather would break in nicely with a good oiling and a handful of rides. Not only did the girth's exterior leather not absorb a drop of the oil but it began to rub on my saddle creating unattractive discoloring and wear on its billets. I can't say that my mare is particularly a fan either, she goes better in a regular neoprene girth in fact. I also found that the girth was quite wide and just felt like too much bulk under my leg. The dee rings are also poorly placed and jab my mare in the sides. Overall, I would not purchase this girth again and wouldn't recommend it to a friend. The only thing I did appreciate about it was that it was sturdy and seemed that it would hold up overtime. I absolutely love riding warehouse but definitely not pleased with this product.

Comments: I use this girth on all 5 of my horses, from my 18.0hh Warmblood to my 14.3 Arabian. All of my horses are very different shapes and this girth (in their appropriate sizes) fits them beautifully and keeps the saddle exactly where it should be. Great quality leather, easy to clean. I do recommend the fleece cover for horses with sensitive skin.
