Comments: It is hard (impossible?) to find the highest standard safety gear in the USA. This was the best I could get and it is more comfortable than my European solid padding one, although it does not protect to the same standard. It is very hot to wear and it needs to be on tight to have any effect. I would not get on a horse without it on. I think of it as as essential as a helmet. It looks good too. Is your spine really not worth $350? or your collarbone? It might not save you but it also might. :)
