Overview
The ThinLine® Comfort Plus Bareback Pad provides the ultimate in shock absorption for both you and your horse! This breathable bareback pad features a high-density polymer bottom that is bonded to a layer of ThinLine® material to give you the ultimate in security and comfort throughout your ride. Naturally molding the horse's shape when warmed to body temperature, this pad absorbs and distributes the shock of impact.
The Comfort Plus bareback pad comes with a waffle-padded girth that features roller buckles on either side to make tightening the girth even easier. Double-reinforced billets on either side ensure that the pad stays in place, even during heavy work or hilly trail rides.

Additional Information
ThinLine Technology:
ThinLine® is a unique open-cell foam with a specific texture and suppleness that allows the product to mold to the natural shape of the horse to provide custom-fit protection. ThinLine® production begins as a liquid; microscopic cells are poured into a mold, then polarized so each cell lies end to end to create a tunnel. Another layer is poured over the top and polarized in a new direction, and this process is repeated hundreds of time to create a honeycomb matrix of cells that allow heat and impact to move laterally through the material to dissipate out the edges.
On average, ThinLine® products offer a 7-10 year lifespan of ultimate protection.
Performance Enhancement:
ThinLine® distributes impact, heat, and weight with a no-slip design, allowing horses to grow in confidence and balance, using their backs to travel deeper and rounder. ThinLine® also stabilizes the saddle and rider, promoting improved balance and equitation. ThinLine absorbs movement in a specific way to allow horse and rider to better feel each other, establishing better communication and improved harmony!

Comments: This pad is absolutely amazing. After using the ancient one at my stable that has no padding left plus a weird old buckle that slowly comes loose, I decided to upgrade. First tried one that was half the price, but the slippery seat fabric was a disaster. (Thanks to RW for their awesome return policy.) I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy a Thinline, and I don't regret it for a second. Received it today and went for an hour long trail ride with rocky parts, hills (some pretty steep) and stream crossings, and didn't have an issue the entire time. My horse is an old guy with insanely high withers and a bony, slightly swayed back, and this pad didn't budge an inch. I did have to tighten the girth a little more than with my saddle but he seemed comfortable with it. I think part of it had to do with it forming to his back over time - when I first put it on him it was kind of floating on his back, thanks to his withers, but after about ten minutes of riding it looked like it fit h im like a glove, so I had to cinch it up a bit more. Also, this was my first time on a trail without a saddle and I felt totally secure, even on the steep parts and during creek crossings. I felt like my breaches (full seat with the silicone stickies) were glued to the seat. Even trotting uphill was great - I moved back the tiniest bit but was surprised by how little I needed to reposition myself afterward. And the cushioning is delightful. Somehow I could feel his back muscles almost as well as totally bareback but couldn't feel his spine at all. Kind of miraculous!

Comments: I use this bareback pad to start my green 2-year-olds in. It's a great way to introduce them to a saddle without the extra weight. I like all the rings and the streamlined design. The fit contours nicely around any type of size or conformation.

Comments: The best bareback pad by far. Very comfortable for rider and horse. I was doubtful and put of purchasing because of cost, but should have bought this earlier. Helps my back too!

Comments: I have been exercising the polo horses bareback with no bridle; just a lead rope and halter. Even posting while trotting bothers my back. Black Friday I got a deal on this thing. Tried it out for the first time yesterday. Oh my gosh! What a relief! LOVE this thing! I can trot, canter, gallop full speed and lean back to slow down without bouncing my back. Thank the maker!!!

Comments: By far the best bareback pad on the market. Protects rider from withers and is super sticky. Worth every penny in book! Could never go back to a "standard" pad now! #spoiled

Comments: I've never ridden in another bareback pad that made my Thoroughbred's spine/withers tolerable. With my Thinline bareback pad, I can even jump her bareback! I also love my Thinline reins!
