Great Rope Halter for Sensitive HorseI've tried the stiffer rope halters and my OTTB hates them with a passion. So I had given up on using one with him at all, but saw this one was advertised as being soft and decided to try it. It is a huge hit. He has no issues whatsoever with this one.

Comments: I love the quality of this rope halter. Very nicely made and the tan color is beautiful. Looks like it will last for a long time. Looks very nice paired with the lead rope.

Comments: I have been searching for a well made halter and after trying many different ones that didn't work for my horse and I stumbled across the RJ Rope Halter. After reading all of the positive reviews I couldn't not give it a try and I will tell you I am really glad I did. This rope halter is amazing! It's really soft and pliable, my Arabian seems much more comfortable in this than the others, which were always so stiff and bulky. I got the teal color and it is so vivid and bright, it looks beautiful. This is a great purchase and it is so affordable. I also grabbed the matching 12ft lead rope and am so happy with it. I am excited to get a set in every color they offer for all the horses.

Comments: I was looking for a replacement halter because I switched to a non-halter/bridle for trail riding, and boy am I glad I tried the RJ Rope Halter! It came a little large for my Arab, however I was easily able to adjust the knot under the chin for a better fit. It’s a very nice looking rope halter once on, I purchased the hunter green for my bay, and it looks really sharp! I couldn’t believe how soft and flexible it was right out of the bag, it was super easy to stuff in my saddlebags. I am going to be purchasing another halter for my other horse, as this one has worked out so well.

Comments: I've had my RJ rope halter (and yacht lead!) for 7 years and love it! I have a new mare and decided to get her a pretty purple set. Now thinking my gelding needs new halter and lead as well even though the old one is still in great shape. He needs a new color, right? Old set will be my spare. OK, done. Just had to write a review about this super cool and well-made halter! I bought it when ya'all were Long Riders Gear and so so happy Riding Warehouse is still offering it! I've been shopping with you guys for a LONG TIME!

Comments: I was looking for a good rope halter and it's hard to do online because you can't feel the rope. But I picked this one after reading the other review that talked about how supple the rope is. So I ordered one in blue and I love it! I tried it on both of my horses (MFT and QH) and it fit both of them great, I didn't even adjust the knots. And it is plenty big but not huge. I would guess it would fit most riding horses. The blue color is so beautiful in the sunlight. In the shade it looks more royal blue, but the sun it is bright and beautiful. And like promised, it is nice and soft. I have a handful of stiffer rope halters and I tend not to like the way they feel when I put them on the horse. I don't know if the horse feels the difference much or not, but I personally like using a softer halter. I trail ride and like having a soft rope halter under my bridle in case I need to tie up. Another nice plus to this halter is how the tie-end is back-spliced into itself. Some halters end in a metal clamp to keep the ends together but I always worry about that hitting the horse in the eye if they swing their head. But the neat back-splice on this halter eliminates the risk of them getting hit in the eye with metal. If I can afford it, I hope to get another one or two of these in different colors. I think they will last forever and I love the suppleness of the rope.

Comments: After my horse experienced a facial injury, it was difficult to catch my horse with a traditional halter. I decided to purchase the RJ rope halter and am so glad I did! The material is super soft and made my horse much more comfortable. Because of it’s flexible design, it makes haltering horses much easier, since you can slide it up the horses’ neck. This halter fit my horse’s small arab head, since it’s fully adjustable. Simply adjust it by the easy tied knots! I will be purchasing more of these for my other horses, as I could tell my horse was much more happier in the rope halter than this traditional one.

Comments: I have the black one and adore it. Reason being, these rope halters are so supple, just like they promise. And they truly don't get stiff with wear and tear. I'm not the kind of person that takes super good care of my tack either... things rarely get a good cleaning around here! Yet, it remains absolutely sharp looking and in great condition after moderate use for over 5 years. Great product! Actually the other RJ products I've tried (reins, leads) are fantastic too - all of them are go-to items that are a pleasure to use.
