Comments: Nice helmet but unfortunately the M/L size was way too small for my 23" around/ 7 1/4" helmet size head, I couldn't even get it all the way on. Tried removing the liner but it was still tight on my forehead and loose on the sides, seems like it has a very round shape vs an oval shape. Also didn't care for the moveable visor as it kept flipping up. But seems like it would be a nice comfortable helmet for someone whose head fit into it properly, just not mine!

Comments: This is my 4th Ovation helmet. Ovation helmets fit me better than any other brands I've tried. This is a very comfortable helmet. It seems warmer to the top of my head than the other Ovation models I own, so it may not be the best choice for hot weather riding. The Protege is definitely cooler, but there is also less room for adjustment with the Protege.

Comments: I love this helmet. I have had it for about three years now and it has gone through many falls. I have the sm/med and it fits perfect. I get off and forget I'm wearing it most of the time. I love everything about it.

Comments: Love this helmet. I measure 6 5/8" and the sm/med fits really well. Love the dial adjustment plus it is very light weight. I was wearing an IRH All Terrain which is a very nice helmet, also. However, it sat a bit low on my head and I hit the visor against my saddle when mounting once and it smashed the helmet into my glasses which hurt BIG time. And this wasn't even a crash. This Ovation is not as deep so, for me is MUCH better in that regard. Highly recommend. Also, it fits a more oval shaped head.

Comments: I have one of these helmets for my 5-year-old child, and she loves it. It fits well, is easily adjustable, and is comfortable. It is so easily adjustable, in fact, that we loan it to lesson students on occasion when they either forget their own helmet or don't own one yet. Well worth the cost!

Comments: This is my first Ovation helmet and it is the lightest weight helmet I've ever worn. Nice padding inside with the adjustable dial for fine-tuning the fit. Ordered medium based on the size chart and it fits perfectly. I like the little chin strap/keeper for the excess strap once you adjust for your comfort. Bought white for its reflective effect in summer heat but can see myself buying another pretty color for the rest of the year. A girl can't have just one. Oh, it comes with its own bag to keep it clean...you know how we tend to shove everything into our trailers. This was a great purchase. :)

Comments: Love this helmet! It is light, cool and has a minimal "mushroom head" look. The liner is comfortable as well as the placement of the chin strap. I normally wear a 6 7/8 so I ordered the S/M, but it was too small. I exchanged it for the M/L and it fits great and I didn't have to dial it all the way down. Wonderful product!

Comments: This helmet is an absolutely lifesaver in more ways than one. Besides protecting my head from a fall, this helmet saved me from overheating during an event when I was competing in cross-country in 107-degree heat!! It is super lightweight and cool for those hot summer days.

Comments: I just used this helmet for the first time yesterday, and I forgot it was on my head! My other helmet just sat on the shelf gathering dust, it is way too heavy and uncomfortable to wear on trail rides. I have never worn helmets before on trail rides, but have heard all the horror stories about horses spooking and people losing their lives. The price is right for this helmet, and it may just save your life. :)

Comments: i personally like it but you got to be careful the visor pops off really easy. I had to order a new visor.

Comments: I went in to my local tack shop, tried everything on prepared to spend a fortune on whatever fit best. Didn't have to! This one fits great, has padding in all the right places, and feels way more expensive than it is and is still light weight. Low enough profile for everyday riding, and I love that I can have my friends wear it because its adjustable. I've worn Troxel, and IRH in the past, but this one's my new favorite. The regular Medium/large would fit any average head person I think.

Comments: I was looking for an inexpensive helmet, this fit the bill. I rode in it frequently, but started to have issues when I took it overseas for a long horse trek. One side of the chin strap setup does not adjust and it began to rub my ear, as I couldn't adjust it, I was stuck with it. It got hot on the trek and I was getting very overheated, my head especially. I pulled out the liner to inspect it and the ventilation holes were full of foam. I ended up cutting back the foam to alleviate some of my heat stress. This did not solve the problem. I dislike riding in helmets, but safety was a real concern to me, so I soldiered on. After several days of sweating to death in this helmet, the liner became scratchy and uncomfortable, leaving a mark on my forehead. You get what you pay for, I would not buy this helmet again. I'm sure it's great for a person who does light riding, but it is definitely not suited for heavy, all day use.
