Product Description

The Fleece Lined Kicking Chain by Tough 1 is the perfect training aid to prevent horses from kicking. The nylon hobble strap and sturdy D-ring guarantee durability while the soft fleece lining provides chafe-free comfort for your horse.

Kicking is a behavior that is not only an annoyance but can also become dangerous for the horse, handlers, and other nearby animals. Horses can cause quite a bit of injury to themselves and others by kicking walls. To help curb this habit, kicking chains are often used in an attempt to create a safer and more peaceful environment.

The fleece-lined nylon strap should be applied around the pastern so that the chain is engaged when the horse proceeds to kick. This will make it uncomfortable for the horse to kick, decreasing and even eliminating this unwanted behavior.

Would Recommend
Good Quality for the PriceGood quality; the chain is a little more lightweight than others I have used, but effective and the best price around. Other brands have rubber my mare's pasterns, but these fit well and are super easy to wash up. The buckle is heavy-duty, and I have been very happy with these compared to other brands I have used.
