Customer Reviews
Visor ReviewIt arrived quickly and in great shape. The pattern looked slightly different from the picture, but it's a nice visor.
Stays putFor best application, slide it as close to the brim as possible so it stays secure.
Serious shadeI purchased the straw/tan model and I love the way it looks. It provides wonderful shade for your face. It is still fairly heavy, the same as the black version, but I question whether it would hold up to a gallop or wind. Overall a great product for the price.

Comments: Another great purchase from Riding Warehouse! The Jute is heavier than the black color, so I went with the black. Does not come off at a canter. Keeps the sun off my face. Does interfere a bit with seeing others in the arena, though. The wearer does sacrifice a bit of peripheral vision and also a bit of hearing. But it is worth it.

Comments: I love this visor! I am very careful about sun exposure after a scare with skin cancer, and this makes riding on sunny days so much more pleasant.

Comments: I love this visor! It provides great shade on sunny days. I never have any problems with it coming off. The key is to properly secure the visor on the helmet. You should first velcro the visor to the helmet and then remove the visor and make it even smaller by about 3/4 inch to 1 inch. Then put the visor back on by sliding and pushing the visor down onto the helmet so it is secure against the brim of your helmet. This way the visor will not fall off while trotting, cantering, or jumping. I recommended this visor for anyone wanting to block the sun rays from your face.

Comments: This visor is perfect for summer and sunny days! So easy to use, I just set it on top of the visor of my helmet and strap it closed in the back. I can walk, trot, canter, gallop, you name it and it never flies off! It definitely blocks the sun from getting in your eyes, and keeps me from getting sunburned. It comes in fun colors too and doesn’t look bad on! I definitely can tell a difference when I’m riding without my visor. If I forget it, I will go back just to put it on, I never leave home without it!

Comments: I have tried four different visor styles purchased from the Riding Wearhouse and this one is my second favorite of the visors I have tried. It is easy to install and remove and it does not require the stick on Velcro (which I really hate); however, it will fly off in wind or when galloping. In my opinion the Dabrim Rezzo helmet visor is a better product and costs about the same. If installed correctly, it stays put in wind and at a gallop.

RW Response: We want everyone to be happy with their RW purchases, so we offer Free Return Shipping, good for 365-days, no-questions-asked. It's our "happy guarantee"! :) A note about this visor - particularly for wind and gallops, the wearer really needs to cinch it down tight. Put the helmet on, and then really make the velcro super tight and this should cure any issues.
