Comments: I bought two of these at Christmas and I LOVE them. I have one shimmed with just shims in the center for my slightly sway-backed mare. I swear she rides better. And I have a gelding with one leg shorter than the rest(due to a birth defect) and he always gets a pressure point on one shoulder. So I shimmed to relieve pressure on his shoulder area. Poor guy already has a patch of white hair from using other pads, but I'm hoping this pad makes him feel better and prevents future damage. There is really no downside to trying this pad as you can always leave all the shims in (or take all the shims out) and you just have a high-quality felt pad. Plus you have the option of shimming for your individual horse/saddle fit issues. So it's highly versatile.

Comments: This is a great pad that is very versatile. With the shims you can add and remove them to fit the horse you are riding. Or you can take them all out and it's a regular 1-inch pad. I bought this for my older mare who is a bit swayback and this has done wonders for her. Would definitely recommend this, especially those who ride lots of different horses.
