Great until it brokeI absolutely loved this for the 5 or so times I got to feed my horse before the plastic buckle broke. It seems very well made and sturdy except for the small plastic buckle was obviously not as strong

Comments: I recently purchased 4 of these bags - conveniently there are 4 colors and i have 4 horses! - I've been using 3 of them for 2 weeks and one just for a couple days, as orange was on backorder. I've owned 4 other brands of nose bags - none is *remotely* this well built or designed. First off, the stand up on their own to be filled - Hallelujah! - and they are much easier for the horse to stick their nose into. There's a large hefty clip on the side if you need to go over the poll due to ear sensitivity and a section of elastic loop sewn into the cheeks to allow for some give to make on/off easier and to allow for easier munching and less smashing and rooting the bag to the ground. The solid bottom means they are not dusting their expensive supplements on the ground and they aren't ingesting dirt when they do root on the bags. The bottom has a wide reinforced webbing and all the seams are all reinforced and built to the outside, so they can lick the last bits and not have plastic mesh poking them. Speaking of horse comfort, there's also a nylon flap on the chin side of the bag to keep it comfy! They appear to be made with the same attention to longevity that Cashel products seem to have and I look forward to a hopefully long life span with these. Oh! They wash up quite nicely with a dunk and swirl in a bucket of water.

Comments: Best investment ever! Bought for my filly who insisted on spreading her grain and supplements all over the stall floor. Easy to put on and take off, she easily learned to eat out of it and it's easy to clean. Would definitely buy again.

Comments: Best feed bag ever. Been using feedbags for me horse for years, he is a very sloppy eater and this bag is by far the best I have ever used. Love the ease of putting it on and the roominess around my horse's face. Easy to clean also. Great buy.

Comments: I bought 5 of these.Feed bags are great for separate feeding and messy eaters and I have been using feed bags for 20 years. I have an older style of the same bag/same brand and I like it better. I don't like the stiff edge around the top because they spill like a bucket and I can't stack them all. Also, it doesn't work for packing in to camps because one cannot close the top by tying it closed and these bags are bulky. The extra strap length flaps while the horse is eating and is located right at the horses eye (pix attached). Also, the catch flap inside just makes for more mess. A horse can still shake out the feed but it is hard to for me to clean and empty. I like the old style better, and the old canvas feed bags (solid all around) are way better for packing in to camps. The colors are great though, since I use these for 6 horses. Also - the pony size is truly for small ponies. It is too small for our pony that wears a yearling size halter.
