Customer Reviews
Fly BootsThese fly boots fit well and stay up. My horses like them and I have used one pair for each horse on all four legs all summer. They get washed a lot and held up nicely. I will replace them this summer.
A Product That Does What is AdvertisesMy horse has very bad summertime allergies which have caused him lots of discomfort during fly season throughout his life. I've used a number of different products. The list can go on for miles. I bought a pair of Crusader Horse Fly boots with hesitation since I was concerned about them creating pressure points. Unbelievably they work and changed the game for how the summer has moved along. I have two pairs that I swap out so he is always in a clean pair with no chaffing from sand. Although he is a warmblood size the horse size was a more secure overall fit with less risk of the boots slipping or getting bunched up. I highly recommend the product.

Comments: I purchased these for my OTTB and I liked the fit and capability to adjust. That being said he's a mouthy boy and they lasted 1 week before he decided to tear them off which was one with some effort because the velcro is actually quite decent.

Comments: I bought these for my 3 year old and got them in blue. They were a beautiful, bright color. They just did not hold up. He wore them less than 5x and the mesh was pulling apart on one boot and a Velcro strap ripped off. I wish I could say they were very durable but they were not for me.

Comments: I bought some of these a long time ago. I used them on my Arab, and they fit good, stay on and held up really well. I will order some for my other horse. Cashel products are very good.

Comments: Perfect fly boots! I ordered the draft size ones for my Percheron Standardbred cross but they were too big. Size Warmblood was perfect. He stopped stomping and he wears them every day/night. They seem very durable.

Comments: When you have an uber-sensitive Thoroughbred who can feel the legs of a single fly, and the summer ground cracks and hardens, the last thing you want is concussion from stomping hooves. These boots are the answer - they hold up well to play time, and work well in turn out (my horse is out 24/7). The heel bulb cushions are a plus, the boots fit well and don't fall off. I haven't lost one yet from any horse playing with the velcro straps. These are my summer go to item, along with the Cashel mask!

Comments: These work well and stay in place. Arab/Cob barely fits my 12.2hh Welsh (boots are almost too big but that size gives good coverage almost to her knee). Horse size fits my leggy 15hh Arab better than the Arab/Cob size did. Arab/Cob is a bit small for my chunky 14hh Icelandic and for my chunky 14.3hh Connemara. In general, I needed to size up from their Cashel fly mask sizes.

Comments: Normally I find that Cashel products fit very well, but these fly boots did not work for my horse. His legs are pretty standard horse size, I think, but the fetlock/pastern part of the boots fit him oddly and pulled when on him when he walked. No amount of adjusting seemed to fix the issue. Sad that I had to send these back because they appear to be pretty well made. Thank goodness for the awesome RW return policy!

Comments: The arab/cob fit my 15.2 TB, but they lasted about 3 days before they completely fell apart. They also slip down and bunch, making movement difficult and uncomfortable, and they caused rubs on her legs. I tried a second pair, thinking maybe those were just a lemon pair, but the same thing happened again. Very disappointed.
